Since development of The Avenue began in 2007, the Developer made Sustainability one of the most important guidelines for the design and development of The Avenue building. Our 23-point Sustainability Plan, which combines both innovative and practical means of reducing our environmental footprint, eventually won The Avenue Precinct Darwin's first ever EnviroDevelopment award from the Urban Development Institute of Australia.

The Avenue development was awarded in two categories in Awards for Excellence by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (NT) in 2014 for High Density Living and Environmentally Sustainable Development.

In August 2015 the Master Builder's Northern Territory awarded seven 'Excellence in Building & Construction' awards to the builder, architects and developer for the construction, design & installations within The Avenue development.
